Friday Night Lights in Texas is a tradition.

In that same fashion, Ozarka 100% Natural Spring Water has come from Texas for 100 years. It’s tradition.

Ozarka Water

In fact, did you know that you can only get Ozarka® water in Texas?

It comes from carefully selected Texas springs including Piney Woods Spring in Wood County, Moffit Spring in Walker County, and Roher Spring in Henderson.

Plus, in honor of that rich Texas pride we all hold so dear, Ozarka® will be the official bottled water of the Southlake Carroll High School football program and Dragon Stadium.

If you know high school football in the Lone Star state, you know the Southlake Carroll Dragons.

Now that we are fully immersed in high school football season, Ozarka has launched the “Taste the Texas Tradition” campaign.

They are celebrating the many football traditions found in homes across the state, from tailgating rituals to victory celebrations.

What football traditions do you have? Share them with Ozarka on Twitter or Facebook using #TexasTradition and #H2Ozarka hashtags.

Around here, it is all about the food. Nothing says football food like burgers on the grill and plenty of finger foods.

For example, Colby’s Buffalo Chicken Dip is a must. You have to be able to stuff a bite in your mouth quickly and be ready for the next play.

Yelling at the TV screen when you can’t be at a game or rooting on your home team on Friday nights is what it’s all about. Blankets and hot chocolate keep you warm as the band plays the marching song.

The “boys of fall” take the field with confidence and determination as they wear their school colors.

Across small towns in Texas, businesses close down when the Varsity team plays and the camaraderie is something to not be missed.

Cowboys pre-game show

Here in our local town, we celebrate #11 out on the field with the Dallas Cowboys. Cole Beasley graduated high school here and it gives us a lot of pride as we watch him excel each season in the NFL.

Just one more reason to celebrate and continue on with our own Texas Traditions!

Texas Fact: Homecoming mums are a tradition born in Texas. Until recently, they were only found in the Lone Star state. Do you know what they are? Told ya we take football seriously here.
