In fact, the Lodge Bakeware encourages us to try recipes we may never have thought of before. Especially the ramekins.

They are actually quite fun to be adventurous with. I wanted to try a crème brûlée but didn’t have a torch.

So, I guess Colby was feeling a bit nostalgic and wanted a Molten Chocolate Lava Cake like the one he had on the cruise this summer. If it gave me a reason to use these awesome small ceramic bowls, I was all for giving it a try.

After all, the Lodge Bakeware is perfect for everything from every day entertaining to special occasions. Dessert was going to be fabulous.
