Fall Trail Mix : Thanks to Albertsons

Thanks to Albertsons’ Stock Up Sale, we have been able to really “stock up” on a few things this week.

The mix-or-match sale is a great way for us to build a good inventory of staple foods we use weekly. But, it can also mean grabbing a few things for a family fun night.

Fall Trail Mix

For instance, we recently invited a few family members over to hang out with us for a little party.

After looking through some of the items we had just bought at the Albertsons Stock Up Sale, we decided to make a delicious Fall Trail Mix.

It was exactly what we needed for a family get-together. Plus, it was super easy to make.

Ingredients: 

  • 1 cup Snyder’s Pretzels
  • 1 cup Bugles
  • 1 cup M&M’s White Chocolate Candy Corn
  • 1 ½ cups Honey Roasted Peanuts
  • 2 cups Crunch ‘n Munch
  • ½ Powdered Sugar, sifted

Directions:

  1. Mix pretzels, Bugles, and peanuts together in a bowl.
  2. Pour over a baking sheet and sift powdered sugar over the top.
  3. Bake at 225° for 10 minutes.
  4. Let cool, pour back into the bowl, and add M&M’s and Crunch n’ Munch popcorn.
  5. Cover with lid and shake to mix completely.
  6. Serve and enjoy.

In addition to the fall trail mix, we were also able to have Lay’s Potato Chips, Wheat Thins, and even Goldfish for our guests.

And drinks were even covered with the Hawaiian Punch Drink and Pepsi products currently on sale. It was really a win-win for us, as well as our guests.

We could have family over for a night of fun… and stay within our grocery budget. After all, it is important to be a good hostess, right?
