Chipotle Guacamole Dip with Knorr Caldo de Tomate Bouillon

Do you know that meme that circulates every now and then involving guacamole? The one where, “Yes, I know it’s extra. I still want it.” That one? That’s me.

I always want the extra side of guacamole. Recently, I discovered a new “flavor” of guacamole using Knorr® Caldo de Tomate Bouillon.

I didn’t realize you could improve on an already incredible taste.

While perusing the recipes that Knorr had on their site, I noticed the chipotle guacamole dip. They claimed it was a “twist on traditional guacamole.”

I am not one to typically mess with tradition, but the spicy chipotle peppers were enough to get my taste buds excited.

For me, the spicier the better, and I wanted to give it a try. Any excuse to eat more guac, right?!

Using their recipe and combining it with my own, this new chipotle guacamole dip is already a favorite!

Ingredients:

  • 4 ripe avocados, peeled and pitted
  • 1 medium tomato, seeded and chopped
  • 1 onion, finely diced
  • 1 ½ tsp Knorr® Caldo de Tomate Bouillon
  • 2 tbsp chipotle peppers in adobo sauce, finely chopped
  • 1 tbsp chopped fresh cilantro
  • 1 lime
  • Salt, to taste

Using a molcajete, (or a bowl and fork) mash the avocados to your desired texture.

Once you have all the ingredients prepared, simply toss everything into a medium bowl and garnish. A bit of cilantro will make your dip look nice.

Me? I prefer a tortilla chip so I can get right to enjoying its deliciousness.
