Living a Dream in 2015 Ford Mustang GT Premium Convertible
Did you ever have a dream car when you were a kid? You know, that ONE car that you thought you would have the minute you were able to buy your first vehicle. For our daughter, Jaci, that car is a 2015 Ford Mustang GT.
And, if she had her way even more so, it would be a convertible. You can just imagine her sheer delight when we were able to test drive one for a week.

Seriously, from its 18-inch Magnetic Gloss Paint machined aluminum wheels to its retro-style Fastback body, the 2015 Ford Mustang GT Convertible has her smitten.
I can’t say as though I can blame her.
This car is beautifully designed and made to resemble the classic muscle car from the 60’s. I used to have a picture of one hanging on my wall back in high school, so I know where she gets it from.
Now, don’t think this Pony is exactly like the car of days past, the 2015 Mustang GT has a brand new style, from its “sharp new signature HID headlamps to the standard signature LED tri-bar taillamps.”
In fact, those tail lights are how Jaci knows she is looking at a 2015. It’s the first thing she has learned to recognize on the new models and likes to impress her cousins with that knowledge.
In addition to the taillamps, she (and the rest of us) loved riding around Dallas with the top down and wind in our hair.
There is something about letting your hair fly free and tossing your arms into the air for no reason at all.
And yes, we blasted the A/C with Dual-Zone Electronic Automatic Temperature Control and turned the cooled front seats on to keep us cool under the Texas sun.
One quick touch of a button and the top was down and we were off.
The smile on Jaci’s face pretty much told the story. She could not stop the huge smile from spreading across her face and wanted to go everywhere in the Mustang that week.
The leather-trimmed seats offered a bit of comfort in the back seat as we turned up the SiriusXM Satellite Radio and went on down the road.
With 9 speakers and an amplifier to help blow out our music, you can bet the Race Red Mustang GT was turning heads.
That only solidified her choice in the GT.
Plus, as her mother, I am extremely proud of the fact that she now understands and appreciates the engine noise.
The 5.0L Ti-VCT V8 engine has a nice rumble as it idles and then roars with acceleration.
Not to mention, each shift of the 6-speed manual transmission brought excitement and joy.
Jaci might not yet be able to understand the beauty of the aluminum foot pedals or chrome-accent 4-gauge instrument cluster, but these were features that made the Mustang so much fun to drive.
Now, one day, we need to get someone that can show her just how Electronic Line Lock works. I could only explain it but I have a feeling she would get a kick out of seeing it in person!
