2014 Disney Movie Line-Up

Are you a Disney fan? I am and each year I am excited to see what is coming next. 2013 went out with a bang with Frozen! Have you seen it yet? It is definitely one of our family favorites already! So… are you ready to see what is coming in 2014?

Beginning in February, the Walt Disney Studios are going to start strong with The Wind Rises.

Release Date: February 28, 2014

Synopsis: Jiro (Joseph Gordon-Levitt) dreams of flying and designing beautiful airplanes, inspired by the famous Italian aeronautical designer Caproni (Stanley Tucci). Nearsighted and unable to be a pilot, he becomes one of the world’s most accomplished airplane designers, experiencing key historical events in an epic tale of love, perseverance and the challenges of living and making choices in a turbulent world.

Need for Speed (I may be OVERLY excited for this one!) I mean, it features a custom-designed Ford Mustang!

Muppets Most Wanted

Captain America: The Winter Soldier

Million Dollar Arm

Release Date: May 16, 2014

Synopsis: In a last ditch effort to save his career as a sports agent, JB Bernstein (Jon Hamm) concocts a scheme to find baseball’s next great pitching ace. Hoping to find a young cricket pitcher he can turn into a Major League Baseball star, JB travels to India to produce a reality show competition called “Million Dollar Arm.”

Maleficent (another one on the top of my list to see)

Synopsis: “Maleficent,” the untold story of Disney’s most iconic villain from the 1959 classic “Sleeping Beauty,” reveals the events that hardened Maleficent’s heart and drove her to curse the baby, Aurora. Planes: Fire & Rescue (Yes! A sequel to Disney Planes.)

Release Date: July 18, 2014

Synopsis: From the world of “Cars” soars “Planes: Fire & Rescue,” a new comedy-adventure featuring a quirky crew of elite firefighting aircraft devoted to protecting historic Piston Peak National Park from raging wildfire. Big Hero 6

McFarland (I LOVE these type of feel-good movies, by the way.)

Which Disney movie are you most excited about in 2014?
