Frozen Yogurt Bark

Quick and Easy Frozen Yogurt Bark Recipe

Did you know that over half of all eating occasions is snacking? Around here, it seems that afternoon cravings are the most popular among our kids. Once they finish their schoolwork and chores, they get outside and active for a while and then come back inside to grab a snack. Therefore, we keep easy-to-grab snacks on hand at all times!

Fortunately, at our local Albertsons, we can find snacks that fit into any part of our day, whatever it may bring! In fact, whether we’re on-the-go or simply want to be well prepared at home, there are a variety of great General Mills products to choose from.

Colby and I have even found new ways to combine the girls’ favorite snacks into delicious treats to keep from being mundane.

The simplest way to mix it up is to take one ingredient they all love — Yoplait® yogurt — and then add different flavors each time. Freeze the new combination and you have a quick and easy snack: Frozen Yogurt Bark.

Think about it! Our possibilities are truly endless! We can we toss in Nature Valley™ granola, Annie’s® Oatmeal Cookie Bites, or some Betty Crocker™ fruit snacks and have a new, unique taste every time! Plus, the girls enjoy picking out their yogurt flavors and toppings.

Considering each batch of bark takes less than 5 minutes to prepare, making three different ones is a cinch! And when you have several hungry mouths to feed around 3:30 pm every afternoon, you want as quick and easy as you can get.

After each slab of Frozen Yogurt Bark is ready to cut and serve, the kids are eager to grab a piece and get back to their day. The cold, creamy taste of the frozen yogurt blended with small bursts of additional flavor leaves them feeling refreshed and “snacksational!”
