The Best Buy Suite at Mom 2.0 Summit in California last month was completely decked out in the most innovative Samsung appliances. The moment you walked in, you were drawn to the sheer awesomeness of the kitchen showroom set up in the conference area.
Best Buy Suite
In addition to the shiny new appliances, there were a handful of Samsung Experts on hand to answer questions and fully explain how each feature worked. After talking about some of the small appliances in the suite, we quickly migrated to the Samsung Family Hub refrigerator. It was hard to miss. The large touchscreen that serves as the “hub” of the technology of the fridge instantly sucked me in. Little did we know, this screen plays such a vital piece to the overall way the appliance works. After all, it’s much more than a refrigerator!
Talking with the Samsung Experts at Mom 2.0 Summit, I learned that the Family Hub focuses on three different areas:
- Family Connections
- Food Management
It’s not your typical fridge! Gone are the days of a big box that simply keeps your food cold! The Family Hub Refrigerator aims to make your kitchen the true hub of your home. Well, in addition to keeping your food cold.
Other Samsung Appliances featured in the Best Buy Suite were the AddWash Front-Load Washing Machine and Dryer, ActiveWash Washing Machine and Dryer, Flex Duo range with Dual-Door technology, over-the-range PowerGrill microwave, and WaterWall Dishwasher. A house full (and then some) of great appliances to admire and drool over. With the daily chef demonstrations showing just what you could create with these appliances in your kitchen, I bet several bloggers were completely sold on the idea!
