How to Unsubscribe from a Magazine Outlet Service

Unsubscribe Magazine

A lot of magazine outlet services try to entice subscribers by offering trial subscriptions to their titles.  The terms may vary from company to company, but basically, you’re invited to select a number of magazine titles, which you will receive for free for a set amount of time.  When your trial period elapses, you then have the option of canceling your subscription with no further obligation.

The difficulty that most folks seem to run into is the uninterrupted, continuous service offered by these magazine outlets.  For most people, this isn’t a problem as they wouldn’t have subscribed to the magazine titles if they hadn’t wanted to receive them.  Those who intend to cancel, though, may eagerly subscribe… and then forget about it.  The notice that the free trial is about to expire gets tossed out with the junk mail, and the magazines keep coming.  Many folks don’t even realize they’ve let the trial period elapse until charges from the magazine outlet start showing up on their credit card statement.
