Control Your Appetite

Like most of the world, when the New Year rolls around one goal I set for myself is weight loss. My husband and I are both trying to eat healthier and to teach our kids to do the same. Learning hunger control can be a difficult habit to break. For both of us, I believe that we need to desperately stop snacking. Portion control would most likely come in second. And finally, eating the proper foods is also a key factor. All things we plan to focus on in the upcoming year.

stop snacking

Therefore, I was thrilled to be introduced to Full Core™. Full Core is a healthy snack replacement alternative and appetite suppressant. The “appetite suppressant” alone was enough to spark my interest. I know that is where I need the most help. I tend to be an emotional eater and will simply snack all day without realizing I am even doing it. So, trying Full Core was something I was really looking forward to!

Hunger Control

Full Core

As I perused the Full Core site for information, I found that by:

reducing your weight by just 10% can begin to lower your risk of developing heart disease, diabetes and other obesity-related health problems.

This was intriguing to me since, well, my husband and I are not getting any younger. Heart problems run in my family and I want to stick around for a long time. I have 5 kids to harass raise for several more years to come. That is perhaps my driving force in getting healthy. My kids.

Digestive Health

I also discovered that Full Core, a great alternative to soda I might add, can increase the amount of fiber in your diet. In fact, each 12 oz. can has 40% of the daily value of fiber. Compared to my current fiber intake, anything that can improve my digestive health is pretty amazing. I know that is one place my body is most definitely lacking and I welcome the introduction of it into my diet. Plus, there are 15 vitamins and minerals and only 25 calories in each can. Not bad for a full-size healthy drink.

Digestive Health

I can tell you that after only a couple of days, the Full Core drink has helped immensely. I believe part of the wanting to eat is simply that… wanting to eat. The lemon-lime taste was great. There was a bit of a fizz going down but easy to drink and no after-effects. Meaning, we were not jittery afterward and had no effects from the drink. You simply drink it 30 minutes before your biggest meal or drink it whenever convenient throughout your day. We would drink ours before dinner each evening. It really helped with the portion control issue since we were simply not as hungry.

Hunger Control

I am excited to see how well this helps jump start our wellness journey for 2013. And bonus: Full Core tastes good and is good for us! We really have nothing to lose… but pounds!

  2. But wouldnt water have the same effect? It seems a bit unnecessary for an appetite control.

  3. I should mention…. another BIG problem for me is I do not drink water well. It is tasteless and I can only drink it ice cold. Therefore, I struggle each time I try to lose weight because of my distaste for water. My husband gives me a really hard time with this. And I am trying to get better. Plus, the Full Core product has 15 vitamins and minerals as well as fiber to aid digestive health. Thus, it does have some added benefits… with a bit more taste. I do try to drink a glass of water before a meal… but, again, the challenge for me, is the water itself. I guess it’s a personal choice? Believe me, I WISH water would work for me. I have tried for years. I simply cannot get used to the taste. :/

  4. This looks interesting since it has vitamins added to it. I usually get an upset stomach if I drink too much of anything right before a meal, so it is good to hear that it doesn’t have any effect. I wonder how much it is.

Being sick can keep a person from wanting to eat, like I am sick with a cold right now. But I like this product! To control my appetite with a drink called full core and with 25 calories and a good deal of vitamins and minerals this sounds great to me!

this sounds interesting, I want to eat healthier, lose weight and feel better-this looks like something I would love to try. Thanks for the heads up will be looking for it in my area. Seems I always eat healthier when in Guatemala, and then when I get back to the States it’s all fast food! 🙁

  7. This sounds really healthy and good for you. I would like to try it with my new year’s resolution to lose weight

I am going to check these out because my most difficult weight loss challenge is snacking at night and these would help 🙂

I haven’t heard of this product before. Any ideas if I can get a sample somewhere?

  10. What a big help, to have a convenient way to boost your fiber intake and cut down on snacking. I think my biggest challenge is not maintaining a regular eating schedule which naturally leads to excessive snacking. Thanks so much for sharing your experience 🙂

Snacking is my biggest nemesis. If this really has a decent taste, then it could help considerably. I’m going to look into getting my hands on a 4 pack!

  13. This does sound like it would work for me because I also don’t drink a lot of water. Thanks for sharing!
