Of course, we are entering the best season for barbecue! Once the rain stops, it’s time to jump outdoors and throw some meat on the grill. But, the BBQ sauce itself has found its way into recipes off the grill as well.

Another staple of cookouts is Deviled Eggs. And, as you might have guessed, we have even found a way to include the bold, creamy sauce into this delicious finger-food!

After being inspired by the 2016 Eggland’s Best “America’s Best Recipe” Contest, we though we would share our Barbecue Deviled Eggs recipe with you.

Barbecue Deviled Eggs

Start by boiling the eggs. You can boil a dozen Eggland’s Best eggs, 2 dozen, or just a few depending on the size of your guest list.

We started with a dozen large eggs because we knew that would at least get the kids started.

After boiling the eggs for about 10 minutes, transfer the them to cold water to cool. This makes it easier to peel them.

Once you have all of the eggs peeled, cut each one lengthwise and remove the yolks.

Combine the yolks with 2 tablespoons of mayonnaise and ¼ cup of your favorite barbecue sauce. A pinch of salt is optional to add here as well.

Next, simply spoon (or pipe) the yolk mixture into each of the egg white halves. Garnish the finished deviled eggs with paprika and you are ready to serve.

Additional toppings such as pepper, parsley or scallions will also be a great burst of flavor.

Change up the barbecue flavor for a new, unique flavor at every cookout!

There are so many ways to have fun with this one simple recipe.
