Check Yes or No
Since this past week was Valentine’s… it spurred all sorts of emotions for people all over. Including in my 7 year old daughter’s 1st grade class. She, with our 9 year old’s help, wrote this letter to him. He then responded with a drawing on the back… as well as another note full of hearts and “x’s”.
Fortunately, I know the boy’s parents well through our church. His mom and I had a fun time discussing it when we saw each other this past Sunday. My husband was not quite as amused. It’s always hard to your little girl start to grow up… especially while in the 1st grade.
Have your children arrived here? Or do you remember your first Check Yes or No note?

Hi there wow, for me that is ancient history but I do remember those days when teachers ask to have homework checked off. I wondered if they still do this practice.
Thanks for hosting, hope to see you too.

As soon as I saw something like that my heart would’ve been in my throat. lol I think my response would’ve been like your husband’s. I’m so glad you have such a good relationship with the boy’s mom. =) That is a blessing.
