Christmas Tree Trimming
This past weekend we put up our Christmas tree. It is always a fun tradition and we make sure our entire family is included. I do the ribbon, the kids hang the decorations and then I go back and re-arrange decorations later. Ok, I know I am not the only one that does that by the way!
Is Christmas tree up? When do you traditionally put it up?
Don’t ask about the stockings. HaHa! Short story, I made the stockings when I was pregnant with baby #3. As we added more children, we simply hung the 5 to represent each of the children. Someone didn’t return theirs to the bin last year so we only have 4. We are currently on the search for new stockings… 7 of them.

Looks like you all made up a beautiful tree. Usually in my family I make up the tree. This year it was a team effort and hubby helped a lot.
Our tree is up too. We generally put our tree up a day after Thanksgiving and yes I have “rearrange kids deco” syndrome too!
Lovely photos, especially like the second from bottom showing your lighted tree. Usually put mine up the week after Thanksgiving, but have yet to cart everything upstairs.

Great looking tree! This was the first year I put up our tree without the assistance of my mom (she passed away earlier this month). My tree lights are uneven, the ornaments are poorly spaced, the garland is sad. No doubt my mom is having a good laugh over my efforts. Her tree trimming skills were more like yours – yours looks like a holiday postcard!

We don’t usually have a set time to put it up but my hubs had to have an operation this week so we put it up this past weekend so he could avoid any heavy lifting.
