C&H Light

Half the Calories

As I began to peruse the internet searching for a great recipe I kept going back to the same things: brownies. I am not sure what my fascination has been with them lately… but this is our second time in the past few days to make them. Only this time we tried something different. Not only do these brownies include a subtle mint flavoring… they are also made with a pure cane sugar that is half the calories of regular sugar.

C&H® Light is an all natural pure cane sugar and stevia blend that saves over a 350-calories in each cup. By blending pure cane sugar with a natural extract from the stevia plant, C&H Sugar has created a delicious sweetener with no artificial ingredients. Baking with C&H Light is easy by simply replacing 1 cup of sugar with ½ cup of C&H Light in your recipes. There are only 5 calories in each serving and one 2-pound pouch can last as long as a regular 4-pound bag of sugar. And after reading through a few recipe ideas I found that cinnamon, chocolate, and mint actually compliment the natural sweetness. Therefore we decided to combine two of those flavors and makes Chocolate Mint Brownies. Try them yourself using the all natural pure cane sugar and stevia blend and see what you think!
