Suitcase for Kids to Ride
Packing can often be a chore, especially when I have to pack for the kids. Although my older 2 can do their own packing, I am still in charge of packing everything not only for myself, but for the younger 3 girls as well. We have already taken one road trip this past month and have several more planned in the upcoming summer months. Therefore, I was looking for luggage for the kids and ran across this great idea from Melissa & Doug Toys. I never knew that a suitcase for kids to ride was even available until now! My girls LOVED them! Of course, we had to get the Trixie Pink suitcase and when it arrived Princess was already to get it packed and ready to go for the next trip. It has become storage for her dolls so she can tote them around between trips. Princess is 6 and has no problem opening the suitcase, as well as using all of the kid-friendly features. But, everyone’s favorite part is that you can sit on it and be pulled along. When we are trying to keep up with 5 kids in a busy hotel lobby this is exactly what we need!
Travel Games for Children
Anyone that had ever traveled with a child recognizes the need for lots of entertainment during the trip. Whether it is travel games for children or making sure to pack a variety of clothes and toys for using along the way. With 5 children and a love of road trips, we must make sure everything goes smoothly. One way we have found to keep the kids busy is by offering them something to do as we drive and they lose interest in the road games we play. Melissa & Doug has an excellent selection of wooden travel-style games that are prefect for playing in the car. Each game contains pieces that flip and stay attached so that they cannot become separated and lost. Plus, the included game cards have a designated space on the back of the board for safe keeping as well. The kids pass them around and have plenty to stay entertained… and they play nicely together even after a few hours in the car!
