My kids are on Spring Break next week and I am on the lookout for ways to keep my girls busy. Our teens will be on a week long Mission Trip so it will just be the younger 3 girls home. One reason I chose not to homeschool our 8 year old is because of her need for a definitive schedule {which I am not wired for} and her desire to stay busy every second of the day {again, not in my wiring}. Therefore, knowing she will have a schedule ready for me by Monday morning, I must find things to do here at the house to fill up her days. Crafts, books, free/inexpensive outings… whatever it takes to keep her entertained next week. Plus, since St. Patrick’s Day is on Friday, I thought we could try a few fun crafts I found on Pinterest.

Fun stuff and great craft projects for the kids. I love that you focused on inexpensive projects and recycling on the projects.

My husband thinks I am crazy when he opens a cabinet full of toilet paper holders or empty food containers… but this is exactly why I hold on to them! Frugal and eco-friendly!
Those are so cute! I usually don’t do anything for St, Patty’s Day, but maybe this year….
Just pinned this! Great ideas!
Very cute! Thanks for sharing.
