We are still enjoying our iPad2 and discovering new apps every day. Recently we were asked to review the Tiny Puzzle by Eddie Brayman app. Tiny Puzzle is a unique puzzle game that does not use your finger to slide pieces, but rather uses the movement of the iPad. You twist and turn the iPad to navigate the pieces around to their corresponding places within the puzzle grid.
The first puzzle level starts with 12 pieces and each level gets progressively harder. The pieces increase in number and get smaller as you continue through the game. There are 24 levels and by the time you reach the last one you have over 2,000 pieces to put into place. Each level is timed allowing you to compete against the watch for each puzzle. Plus, when you complete all 24 puzzles you can start all over again using your own pictures! Always a new game to be played!
Although it was a bit difficult for my 5 year old, my 7 year old was able to manage the pieces well. The other members of the family took turns sliding the pieces around and competing against each other in various levels. The pictures were not all appealing to the eyes and the graphics were very simple, but the concept is nice. With the race against time and customization feature it makes for a great family game night!
